Course Objectives

Identify Trust-Related Challenges

Recognize common challenges and barriers that cause trust to waver within coalitions or volunteer groups.

Apply Trust-Building Framework

Apply the 4 Es framework (Engagement, Explanation, Expectation Clarity, and Empathy) to strengthen coalition processes and relationships.

Implement Actionable Trust-Building Strategies

Identify specific, actionable steps to build or reinforce a trustworthy process that enhances collaboration, transparency, and long-term commitment.

Training Description

  • Explore what causes trust to waver
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen transparency and inclusion
  • Apply the “4 Es” (Framework Engagement, Explanation, Expectation Clarity, and Empathy) to cultivate a process that builds confidence, shared ownership, and sustained collaboration.
